Split large text/html files into smaller files. I find it much faster and more accurate than cut and paste. You embed commands in the big file telling it which pieces of it are to go where, then let Splitter do the work. It is much faster and more accurate than trying to select huge blocks of text in an editor. You don't accidentally lose or duplicate text. Keeping files small makes the site more responsive.

not very well engineered It would be good if it didn't try to read in the whole file before splitting it. For bigger files it's useless.
No nonsense Did what I needed it to do without any nonsense. A very nice tool.
Errormessage I was looking for software to manage very large textfiles > 5GB. Unfortunately the File Splitter did not work on my files.
I got an error message...
The ideal approach when size does not matter Does what it says it does - and quickly. Could do with a Help File.
It failed to work A large txt file 1.15 gig, I asked it to divide by 2 and it crashed.
I have no idea how it works This file splitter came crippled and only able to split files into 5 line blocks. Absolutely useless, in other words. What a waste of time...
